Sudan, March 06 (TNS): Pakistani peacekeepers serving with the UN-African Union Mission in western Sudan’s region of Darfur have handed over Solar panel systems to three Quranic Schools and one educational center.
According to a UN press release, these four educational institutions having no electricity are located near Sortony, North Darfur.
Pakistan is the largest contributor of military and police personnel to UNAMID with more than 1,200 currently deployed.
