Lahore, May 29 (TNS): Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the new DG of LDA to immediately start roads patchwork in Lahore as the people face difficulties due to dilapidated roads conditions. He said that construction of multi-storied buildings will be encouraged in Lahore and directed that installation of the international standard fire-fighting system should also be ensured in the high-rise buildings. There should be a trained staff to cope with any eventuality and organized rescue system should also be installed. He said that innovative steps should be taken to facilitate the citizens. The government believes in merit and supremacy of the rule of law. Therefore, every job should be done on merit and in accordance with the rules and LDA should efficiently perform to facilitate the citizens without succumbing to any pressure.
The Chief Minister issued these directions to the new DG LDA Usman Moazam who called on him and also directed him for facilitating the citizens of the provincial metropolis.
