Govt to get federal budget passed with cooperation of allied parties: Firdous

Islamabad, Jun 21 (TNS): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan says the government will get the federal budget passed with cooperation of allied parties.

Talking to reporters in front of Parliament House this afternoon, she said the government allies have given full assurance to the Prime Minister of their cooperation.

She said PML-Q is leading in the efforts for getting the federal budget and the budget of Punjab passed.

She said the opposition is playing a negative role in parliament by threatening not to let the budget passed.

The Special Assistant said the PTI government believes in supremacy of law and Prime Minister Imran Khan is committed to ensuring justice in the society.
