ISLAMABAD, July 19 (TNS): Prime Minister’s Advisor on Institutional Reforms and Austerity, Dr. Isharat Hussain visited CDA Headquarters and met Chairman, CDA, Amer Ali Ahmed. The meeting was attended by the members of CDA Board, Financial Advisor, Member Administration / Estate, Member Planning and Design and Member Engineering.

Prime Minister’s Advisor, Dr. Isharat Hussain discussed the restructuring, reforms aim to revamp the organization and improvement of performance in the authority. On this occasion, Chairman, CDA briefed the Prime Minister’s Advisor about administrative structure and different departments of the Authority. Chairman, CDA also briefed the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Institutional Reforms and Austerity, Dr. Isharat Hussain about the steps taken by the CDA to improve the performance of different formations and provision of quality services to residents in accordance with the directions of the Federal Government. Members of the CDA Board also briefed Dr. Isharat Hussain about the performance on steps taken to improve service delivery in their respective formations.

While issuing directions regarding to make CDA public friendly organization, priority of the government regarding provision of facilities to the residents and controlling extra expenditures and introducing revised reforms. Advisor to Prime Minister said that Information Technology Department would be upgraded and comprehensive reforms are required to wing to improve the working of different formations.

While directing to carry out restructuring of the authority and strengthening financial structure, advisor to Prime Minister said that financial discipline in the authority should be ensure. He further directed to all formations to improve service quality being provided to the residents. In line with the directions of the federal government regarding ensuring good governance and transparency, Dr. Ishrat Hussain directed the authority to keep in consideration division of the federal government while devising policies so that performance of the authority could be improved.
