Bhat was addressing the conference entitled ‘Global Opportunities beyond Brexit for Britain and the Commonwealth”.
The conference was organized by by Hopeman Consultants UK Ltd and Hosted by Dr Saboor Javed Chairperson and presided over by Lord Duncan McNair. On the occasion Altaf Ahmad Bhat said enlightened the esteemed participants about the gruesome situation of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to take note of the human rights violations and environmental changes in South Asia and especially in IOK. He further said that “Kashmir’s businesses are struggling through the Indian armed forces atrocities and brutal killing of innocent Kashmiris. We lost about two billion US dollars in the sector of the economy after abrogation’s of Article 370 and 35 A on 5 of August 2019 during the siege imposed by Indian Govt.

Briefing about the Business Opportunities in Islamabad and overall Pakistan, Bhat said that,” There are huge business opportunities in the Tourism sector, educational sector Real-estate sector and infrastructure development especially in Naya Ghar Housing Scheme and High rise building sector announced by Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Imran Khan. Bhat further said, after Brexit, all the Business community of UK will be welcomed by Pakistani Business community and Government of Pakistan.”
Speaking on the event Dr Saboor Javed-host of the conference- said that, “There are enough Business opportunities for commonwealth countries especially for Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and others. Brexit is very important for the progress and prosperity of Great Britain added Dr Saboor. Climate change and environmental hazards are the common problems of the world and they need to be addressed he maintained.
