Islamabad, Nov 30 (TNS): Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Lahore on a day-long visit to review progress on developmental and welfare projects being completed in the province.
He will be briefed about the projects and different programmes initiated by the Punjab government in different sectors.
The Prime Minister will also preside over a meeting on smog condition in Lahore.
He will attend a signing ceremony of Service Level Agreement between Punjab Land Record Authority and major private commercial banks for rapid agriculture loans.
Earlier, the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar called on Prime Minister and discussed overall situation in the province.
Punjab Chief Secretary Azam Suleiman Khan and Inspector General Police Shoaib Dastgir also called on the Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore.
They briefed the Prime Minister about law and order in the province and steps being taken to improve the police system.
The Prime Minister directed to utilize all available resources for the protection of life and property of the people.
The Chief Secretary also apprised the Prime Minister about the measures for the betterment of administration and good governance in the province.
