Islamabad: December 26, (TNS): Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sealed 13 more commercial buildings in different housing societies situated in Zone II and V of the city on account of violating Islamabad Building and Zoning Regulations 2005. These operations were conducted by the Building Control Directorate –II with assistance of Islamabad Capital Administration (ICT) while participated by the Enforcement Directorate of the Authority, Islamabad Police and other concerned formations.
During these operations conducted on Thursday, teams of Building Control Directorate –II sealed five (05) premises in Cabinet Division Employees Cooperative Housing Society which include Alpha Arcade, Friends Arcade, Waqar Arcade and Maryam Arcade located on the main roads of the society and building constructed on plot No. 26 on the Principal Road of the society. Similarly, two (02) commercial premises including A&M Arcade and R.P Advisor situated in Roshan Pakistan Housing Society were also sealed on violations of building and zoning regulations 2005. Moreover, six (06) commercial buildings arcade constructed on Plot B-III, building constructed on plot No. A VII (A-7), building constructed on Plot No. A VIII (A-8), Plot A-IV (A-4), Pine Heights Apartment and building constructed on plot J7 in Markaz of Margalla View housing society were also got sealed during the operation on account of violations of building and zoning regulations.
The sealing of the premises in continuation of the operation triggered by the earlier this week to ensure the enforcement of building and zoning regulations all over the city. The action is being taken against all those violators who have not yet compiled the instructions of the authority despite the lapse of sufficient time. The operation will remain continue without any interval to ensure implementation of relevant regulations.
