Tehran: Jan 03, 2020 (TNS): Iran has condemned the killing of it’s Revolutionary Guards’ Al-Quds Force General Qassem Soleimani terming the act of international terrorism.
In a Tweet on Friday, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said actions of targeting and assassinating are extremely dangerous and a foolish escalation.
Meanwhile, in a statement, Washington said Iranian commander Soleimani was developing plans to attack Americans in Iraq and Middle East.
In a tweet, US Democrat Senator Chris Murphy has said the killing of Soleimani could put more Americans at risk.
The US' act of international terrorism, targeting & assassinating General Soleimani—THE most effective force fighting Daesh (ISIS), Al Nusrah, Al Qaeda et al—is extremely dangerous & a foolish escalation.
The US bears responsibility for all consequences of its rogue adventurism.
