Five incidents of robbery in single day in “Safe City” question mark on authorities

Islamabad, July 18 (TNS): A gang of mugger became active in federal capital which has been declared “safe-City” as five incident of snatching and robbery reported in different police stations of Islamabad in a single day.

According to TNS report, a Pakistani-origin British national was robbed at Kachnar Park located in I-8 sector of Islamabad.

Dr. Amjad was walking in the park when unknown assailants snatched a costly wrist watch and smart mobile phone.

The goons fled the scene in a car without any Number-plate. Mobile No. 03330518881 was active when culprits snatched it.

TNS contacted Industrial Area Police Station in I-9 where ASI Saeed told us that a case has been registered and police kicked off its investigations.

Meanwhile, robbers snatched purse and mobile phone of the wife of Federal Secretary in F-10 Markaz, Islamabad at gunpoint.

According to TNS report, Federal Secretary’s wife and her children were shopping in busy market when an unidentified armed man snatched her purse with cash, jewelries and mobile phone with SIM no. 03345143744.

Earlier, three incidents of snatching took place within limits of Golra Police Station where the gang robbed gold jewelry from a woman in E-11 sector.
