Islamabad: January 22, 2020 (TNS): Enforcement Directorate of the Authority while conducting operations in connection ongoing anti encroachment drive, demolished several illegal structure and constructions and also confiscated encroachment material from different areas of the city. Furthermore, the areas from where encroachments were removed earlier were also inspected and reoccurred encroachments were again demolished.
These operations were conducted with the assistance of Islamabad Administration, Islamabad Police and other concerned formations.
Teams of Enforcement Directorate inspected blue area where an illegal boundary wall was demolished on Tuesday, it was observed that an attempt to re-encroach the area was made which was foiled by the Teams of Enforcement Directorate. Similiarly, Enforcement Teams also removed reoccurred encroachments from Saidpur village and directing the Environment Wing to make arrangements so that the area vacated from the encroachers could not be encroached again.
In the meanwhile, staff of enforcement Directorate carried out an operation in Mandi Morr area and confiscated 02 trucks encroachment material. Similarly an anti encroachment operation was also conducted in sector I-14/3 near Hajj Complex and demolished illegally constructed 02 rooms in the vicinity. Moreover, staff of Enforcement Directorate during an action connected in front of Shifa International Hospital and removed several encroachments and confiscated plastic chairs, tables, stands, cylinder and other material which was shifted to CDA store. Similarly a person was also arrested on carrying out construction of a shop in Ghouri Town area.
