Another undertrial prisoner escaped from police custody in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi, July 21 (TNS): A big question mark on Rawalpindi police department as within a week another undertrial prisoner escaped from judicial Complex in Rawalpindi.

According to officials, Malik Zeshan, an undertrial prisoner, was brought in custody from the Bakshi Khana for the hearing of a case in the Judicial Complex.

In Judicial Complex, with help of some policemen (possible against bribe), prisoner Zeeshan was taken out of Bakshi Khana for meeting with his relatives.

During the meeting, Zeeshan easily escaped from the police custody.

A similar incident occurred on Wednesday in Taxila where an undertrial prisoner escaped from the premises of civil judge court.

The criminal negligence and bribery in police department is question mark for authorities as such incidents being taken place frequently.
