ISLAMABAD: March 20, 2021 (TNS): Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) has directed to plant more roses and seasonal flowering plants in Rose and Jasmine Garden. During his visit to Rose and Jasmine Garden yesterday, the Chairman directed to complete the tender for the renovation and rehabilitation project of Rose and Jasmine Garden as soon as possible. During visit Chairman was accompanied by Member Finance, Member Engineering, Deputy Director General (Civic) and other concerned officers.
He also visited the wetland project and said that the policy of using wetland water for horticulture is being considered, which will not only save water but also use recycled water. He further said that Rose and Jasmine Gardens receive a large number of tourists and citizens from the twin cities daily. He directed to maintain the cleanliness of the garden. Chairman CDA said that more rose varieties and seasonal flowers and fruit plants should also be planted here. Facilities provided by the authority to citizens should be further improved in the park, he added.
