ISLAMABAD: April 21, 2021 (TNS): Operations of Capital Development Authority (CDA) against encroachments and illegal constructions are underway. In this regard, the administration of CDA conducted operation against illegal constructions at H-9 slums. However, the land grabbers started reconstructing the demolished structure on very next night. CDA’s Enforcement Department took action against the illegal steps of the land grabbers and demolished more than 06 boundary walls and other illegal constructions. On the other hand, illegal constructions were being done again on CDA’s dumping ground at Shah Allah Dita. CDA took prompt action and conducted operation against illegal constructions at the spot. Resultantly, government’s land was retrieved. Similarly, the land grabbers had started illegal constructions again in Firash Town. Operation was also conducted there and tent houses were demolished and government’s land was retrieved. Captured goods have been submitted to CDA’s store. Heavy machinery of the department of MPO was used in the operations.
