ISLAMABAD JULY 25 (TNS): The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority Islamabad (PEMRA) on Thursday issued a warning notification to Kashish Television Network (Pvt) Ltd. (KTN) for broadcasting footages of dead bodies and horrible scenes without censoring.
According to the notification “The broadcasting of such content is violation of Section 20 of PEMRA Ordinance 2002 as amended by PEMRA (Amendment) Act 2007, Rule 15(1) of 2009 and Clauses 4(5) of Electronic Media (Programmes and Advertisements) Code of Conduct, 2015”.
