Islamabad July 26 (TNS): Oil tankers’ strike ended here Wednesday giving much-awaited relief to the people.
A severe crisis seemed to be brewing before the end of strike as several fuel stations in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta, among other areas, had closed shop because of lack of supply and high demand.
Moreover, at the handful of fuel stations that were operating, long queues of commuters could be seen as people rushed to acquire the commodity before it ran out completely.
