Washington, Beijing, July 28 (TNS): The US and China in official reaction over Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification from public office said that relationship with Pakistan would not be affected by political change in the country.
Spokesman of US State Department in Washington said that Nawaz Sharif disqualification of Nawaz Sharif by the top court of the country is totally internal matter of Pakistan.
The spokesman said that the US wants to see a smooth transaction of power by the Parliament which should choose new prime minister by a peaceful manner.
China, on other hand, also termed ouster of Prime Minister an internal matter of Pakistan.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson in a statement said that the change in the Prime Minister’s office would not change great ties between two friendly countries.
The statement said that work of CPEC would continue uninterruptedly.
