‘Talks between Pakistan-India to resume soon’

NEW DELHI, Aug 02 (TNS): Pakistani High Commissioner in India Abdul Basit hopes that talks between Pakistan and India will resume soon.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, he said that Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin was not a terrorist and he was struggling for cause of Kashmir.

The High Commissioner said that the leaders of the Hurriyat Conference were also representative of aspiration of people of Kashmir, adding that allegations of money laundering were leveled against Hurriyat leaders several times.

He said that the Pakistan would take legal action against Hafiz Saeed, if India provided dossier of his involvement in Mumbai attack case.
