MULTAN, Aug 6 (TNS): Pakistani stage actress Imaan Shah on Sunday was arrested allegedly in drunken state after her car fatally hit a motorcyclist on Masoom Shah Road here.
The identification of the motorcyclist could not be ascertained immediately.
According to police, the actress was driving in drunken condition when her car collided with the rider due to over-speeding and reckless driving.
A case has been registered against the stage performer on multiple charges.
Police is also said to recover liquor bottles from the car’s boot. She has been taken to Nishtar Hospital for medical examination after being charged with ‘drunk driving’.
She was not carrying her driving license at time of the accident, police said.
