Rawalpindi (TNS) Judge Ikram-ul-Haq Chaudhry of the Additional Sessions Court of Rawalpindi acquitted accused Nasir Ali alias Shana in case number 2030 of the year 2023 of the Civil Lines Police Station due to lack of evidence. On behalf of the accused, lawyers Azmat Ali Mubarak, Miss Azma Mubarak, Miss Tahira Banumbarak had taken the position that accused Nasir Ali was wrongly implicated and should be acquitted. The prosecution presented a total of five police official witnesses for cross-examination under Section 9C. A drug case was registered against accused Nasir Ali on October 31, 2023.
