ISLAMABAD (TNS) Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that India should know that Pakistan will never leave Kashmir.
He said that no deal on Kashmir is possible, we can never forget Kashmir, India should know that Pakistan will never leave Kashmir.
The Field Marshal said that India tried to suppress the Kashmir issue but failed, Kashmir is a global issue, Pakistan will never accept India’s monopoly.
According to the ISPR, Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M) interacted with the participants of the ‘Hilal Talks’ at the Army Auditorium.
The aim of the Hilal Talks is to serve as a forum for sharing of views among members of the academic community of Pakistan, covering interactive sessions, group discussions on various international, regional and national issues.
In recognition of the important role of academia in national development through innovation, research, and feedback, the forum brought together around 1800 members of the academic community including Vice Chancellors.
Heads of departments, senior faculty members, principals, and students from institutions across Pakistan participated in the discussions. Participation was virtual from Balochistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and southern districts of GB.

Addressing the participants, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir encouraged educational institutions to play an active role in promoting the national narrative of harmony, stability, peace, and development. Stressing the need for critical thinking and knowledge-driven economies, the COAS said that our educational institutions should function as centers of critical thinking, reasoning, and organic innovative solutions for the development of Pakistan.

Interacting with Vice Chancellors, Principals, and senior faculty members of various universities, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that teachers are the biggest asset of the country, whatever they are, it is because of parents and teachers.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that terrorists in Balochistan are a fitna-ul-Hindustan, they have no connection with the Baloch, terrorism is an internal problem of India, the reason for terrorism in India is oppression and prejudice against minorities.
He further said that Pakistan has to be made a strong state in which all institutions work according to the constitution and law, a state where all institutions work for the welfare and well-being of the people without any political pressure, financial and personal gain, whoever tries to create a narrative to weaken the state should be rejected.
In the question and answer session of senior teachers and participants, there was an impression that this is a safe land, there is a uniform behind it, we are proud of Pakistan and our armed forces and we will continue to stand by them.
After a question and answer session, the participants appreciated the institution of ‘Hilal Talks’ and expressed confidence that such initiatives will play a significant role in promoting the exchange of ideas, opening avenues for research and innovation, and gradually strengthening national cohesion through continuous dialogue. The forum concluded with a shared commitment to work together for a more secure and prosperous Pakistan.
