Public Trust Linked to Dignity and Respect at Police StationsUnder the command of District Police Officer Ismail Kharrak, Khanewal Police has launched an all-out campaign against crime, recording a striking decline in major offenses compared to 2024. Acting with the precision of a battlefield force, the district police dismantled 106 dacoit gangs, arrested 240 suspects, and recovered stolen property worth Rs. 151.3 million, including gold, cars, motorcycles, livestock, and mobile phones.
The year’s operations also targeted narcotics networks, with 32 organized drug syndicates dismantled and 766 kilograms of drugs seized. Alongside, ten armed encounters underscored the uncompromising resolve of the police to confront criminal elements head-on.
Figures show murder cases dropped by 20%, dacoity by 71%, robbery by 49%, motor vehicle theft by 22%, and incidents of rape with murder by half. Officials attribute this unprecedented reduction to relentless operations, constant patrolling, and strict enforcement measures ordered by the police command.
Kharrak has directed his officers to ensure all investigations are conducted purely on merit, with challans dispatched to courts without delay. He reiterated that justice must be swift, transparent, and uncompromised. He further stressed that every citizen entering a police station must be treated with dignity and respect, reminding his force that the honor of the police is tied directly to the confidence of the people.
The Khanewal model, built on aggressive crackdowns, strict accountability, and community respect, now stands as a demonstration of how operational discipline can transform law enforcement into an institution of both deterrence and public service.
