Rawalpindi (TNS) Armed Forces Resolute in Defence of the Nation; Funeral prayers offered for 12 martyrs who defended the homeland

Rawalpindi (TNS); The funeral prayers of the twelve martyrs who accepted martyrdom while defending the motherland against the unprovoked and cowardly aggression on Pakistan by the Afghan Taliban, Indian-sponsored Fitnat-ul-Kharij were offered today at Chaklala Garrison Rawalpindi.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the funeral prayers were attended by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, federal ministers, Governor KP, civil and military officers and the public.

Speaking on the occasion, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that the people of Pakistan will always be indebted to the great sacrifices of these brave sons. The Defense Minister said that our brave sons gave a befitting reply to the aggressors from Afghan soil and sacrificed their lives for the sake of territorial integrity. The Defense Minister further said that Pakistan’s armed forces, with the full support of the nation, are determined to thwart all kinds of aggression and conspiracy against the beloved homeland. It should be noted that the Pakistan Army has given a befitting reply to the aggression against Pakistan by the Afghan Taliban and Indian-sponsored Fitnat-ul-Kharij, in which more than 200 Afghan Taliban and Indian-sponsored Fitnat-ul-Kharij terrorists were killed. Meanwhile, 23 soldiers of the homeland were martyred during this time.
