KARACHI (TNS) KARACHI September 29, 2025 — The Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD) joined the global community in celebrating World Heart Day 2025 under the theme “Don’t Miss a Beat,” focusing on raising awareness about cardiovascular health, prevention, early detection, and timely treatment of heart diseases. The event brought together renowned cardiologists, healthcare professionals, students, and members of the public to promote heart-healthy living and encourage preventive practices. Executive Director KIHD, Prof. Riffat Sultana, emphasized that every heartbeat counts and that adopting simple lifestyle changes such as regular checkups, a balanced diet, and physical activity can save countless lives from cardiovascular diseases. As part of the celebration, KIHD organized educational and awareness sessions, interactive activities, and expert talks to spread vital information about heart care. A symbolic heart-shaped human formation by staff, students, and community members marked the conclusion of the event, reflecting unity and commitment to fighting heart disease in Pakistan. The event also featured the participation of leading cardiologists from across the country, including Prof. Mansoor Ahmad, Prof. Nawaz Lashari, Prof. Abdul Rasheed, Prof. Pir Shiraz, Prof. Zeerak Jarrar, Prof. Amir Hameed, Prof. Kaleemullah Shaikh, Prof. Tariq Ashraf, Prof. Sultana Habib, Prof. Khalida Soomro, Prof. Aliya Kemal Ahsan, Prof. Abdus Samad, Prof. Mohammad Ishaq, Prof. Najma Patel, Prof. Masih uz Zaman, Prof. Asal Khan Tareen, Prof. S.
