Karachi (TNS): A high-level delegation of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) visited the Karachi Press Club and congratulated the club’s newly elected leadership.
The delegation included Executive Director Professor Dr. Khalid Sher, Joint Executive Director Dr. Muhammad Suleman, Assistant Director and Medicine In-charge Dr. Saddam Saleh, and Jinnah Hospital spokesperson Dr. Waqas Khan.
On this occasion, the delegation extended their best wishes to the newly elected leadership of the Karachi Press Club and presented them with a bouquet.
The delegation stated that journalists play a fundamental role in highlighting the truth, strengthening democratic values, and raising public awareness in society.
Medical experts emphasized that responsible journalism plays a significant role in highlighting public issues and bringing improvements in various sectors, including health. During the meeting, mutual respect and professional harmony between the two institutions were clearly observed.
Participants agreed that strong communication and cooperation between the medical community and the media are essential for social welfare and public well-being.
