ISLAMABAD, August 8 (TNS): The National Assembly Tuesday referred as many as five Private Members Bills to various standing committees including law and justice and trade.
Mussarat Ahmed Zeb, Nikhat Shakeel Khan and Naeema Kishwer Khan and Kishwar Zehra tabled the Bills in the house.
These Bills included to amend the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 and the Code of criminal procedure 1898, (the criminal law (amendment) bill 2017, a bill further to amend the federal employees, benevolent fund and group insurance Act 1969 (Act No. II of 1969 (the Federal employees Benevolent fund and group Insurance (Amendment) bill 2017) a bill to provide for protection of rights and provide relief and rehabilitation of Transgender person and their welfare and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto (The transgender person (Protection of Rights) bill 2017 and a bill further to amend the National Database and Registration Authority 2000 (ordinance No VIII of 2000 ( the National Database and Registration Authority (amendment) bill 2017; bill The Constitution amendment Bill 2017.
