ISLAMABAD, Aug 8 (TNS): Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police arrested five housemaids along with one of their accomplices and recovered gold ornaments and cash worth 400,000 from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said a special team headed by DSP Muhammad Ashraf Shah arrested five women and one of their accomplices. The nabbed persons have been identified as Sumera Bibi, Naseem Bibi alias Asima, Farzana, Shehla, Nazia and Qasim.
Police recovered gold ornaments of eight tolas and Rs. 400,000 looted by them. Case has been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
