ISLAMABAD, Aug 8 (TNS): A contempt of court petition was filed in the Supreme Court against Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Tuesday.
The petition was filed by former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Lahore president Awais Younas. The petition contended that Khawaja Saad Rafique criticized the judiciary in his press conference after the disqualification of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
The petitioner prayed the court to take action against the federal government for contempt of court.
