DELHI Aug 14 (TNS): Pakistan High Commission in Delhi celebrated the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan with patriotic fervor and zeal.
A commemorative ceremony was held on the premises of the mission where Acting High Commissioner Syed Haider Shah unfurled the national flag.
He, accompanied by spokesperson of the Pakistan High Commission Khawaja Maaz Tariq and other diplomatic staff, cut a cake to mark the 70th year of the independence of the country.
The Deputy High Commissioner read the message from the president and prime minister of Pakistan on the occasion. Pakistan High Commission’s school children presented tableau, speeches and sang national anthems to show off their love of the country.
