RAWALPINDI, August 14 (TNS): Functions held in Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) to celebrate the Independence Day.
All officers and staff at the RDA attended Flag-hoisting ceremony. Flt. Lt. (Retd) Imran Qureshi, Director (Adman & Finance) RDA along with officers hoisted the national flag at RDA premises. Khawaja Arshad Javed, President Staff Union and the staff members on the occasion presented national songs.
Director (Adman & Finance), RDA said nations rise and attain prosperity after facing difficulties, hardships and with unflinching toil.
He added that Pakistan would soon overcome the prevailing crisis and become a developed country.
