Authority rubbishes report about CPEC record destroyed in Islamabad fire

Islamabad, Sept 10 (TNS): Spokesperson for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) claimed with regards to blaze in Awami Markaz that the office of the economic corridor is totally safe.

A statement, issued by the concerned authority, stated that no government data or documents were stored in fire-affected building.

Statement of the spokesperson came after a blaze that erupted in Awami Markaz Software Technology Park on early Sunday engulfed the building, burring offices on multiple story building, as claimed by deputy mayor of the federal capital Zeeshan Shah.

Media reported earlier in the day that the facility belonging to CPEC was in flames and was destroyed completely.
