WAZIRABAD, Sept 18 (TNS): The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) raided a spices factory and seized over 9000 kilogram of adulterated spices which were disposed off here on Monday.
Headed by Director Operations North, the PFA team raided the spices grinding and packaging factory in Wazirabad.
The factory was sealed for producing adulterated spices. 9000 kilogram fake chilly powder and other spices were recovered and disposed off.
Meanwhile, a case was also lodged against the owner of the factory and police was conducting raids for his arrest.
