Islamabad, Sept 18 (TNS): Local government system failed to deliver masses of Islamabad as parks and grounds, which were symbol of beauty of capital city, are now being neglected in battle for power between CDA and MCI.
According to TNS report, CDA handed over charge of Environment-Department to MCI which is already lacking funds and staff.
Battle for power between two bodies damaged Islamabad’s image as “the beautiful city” as parks and grounds under Environment-Department are being deserted.
After this negligence, parks and grounds give an ugly look with wild-plants and broken walls, boundaries and damaged benches and other infrastructure.

People of Islamabad are disappointed with this situation as kids and youth deprived of parks and grounds to play.
The masses said that Mayor Islamabad has failed to work for betterment of the city and its people.
CDA spokesman, while talking to TNS, denied such reports saying that there is no clash between CDA and MCI as both bodies working parallel for betterment of capital city.

But ground reality is otherwise as people of Islamabad complained that even after two and half years situation has become worse.
