NAB denies reports about raids on Dar’s residence to arrest him

Islamabad, Sept 20 (TNS): National Accountability Bureau (NAB) sources denied media reports which suggested that the apex anti-graft watchdog raided finance minister Ishaq Dar residence, TNS has learned.

“They went for delivering notice which they did. No raid at all”, sources in NAB told TNS.

Earlier media reports said that a team of the National Accountability Bureau Lahore has raided Dar’s residence in Islamabad but failed to arrest him as he was not at home.

The anti-graft body denied such reports say that: “NAB team has not raided at all at the house of Ishaq Dar. They went only for delivering Court Notice which they did as per law. Media is requested to avoid airing unverified news”.
