ISLAMABAD, Sept 26 (TNS): Former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali reaffirmed his loyalty to ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday in a one-on-one meeting at Punjab House in Islamabad, local media quoting sources said.
According to inside sources, Chaudhry Nisar complained that his advice on important matters concerning the party and leadership had been ignored.
Sources add that Nisar told Nawaz Sharif: “You are my leader and I will never betray you.”
The former interior minister further advised Nawaz Sharif to think rationally, not emotionally and avoid any confrontation with state institutions, sources added.
The interior minister also took Nawaz Sharif into confidence about his contact with influential figures.
