Karachi, Sept 28 (TNS): Five terrorists were killed in an encounter with police in Sachal area of Karachi on Thursday.
SSP Malir Rao Anwar informed media that the terrorists belonged to Al-Qaeda and Daesh and were planning to carry out terrorist activities in the city during Muharram-ul-Haram.
He said the group was also involved in sectarian and target killing of police officials.
Rao Anwar said weapons and a remote controlled car, supposed to be used in terrorist activity, were also recovered from the compound used by the terrorists.
