Islamabad, Sept. 30 (TNS): PTI leader Amir Dogar asked the Parliamentary body why Rao Tehsin Ali Khan was made scapegoat in Dawn Leaks saga.
In the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting, Tehreek-e-Insaf’s member National Assembly from Multan, Amir Dogar, asked the federal secretary Information Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera and Principal Information Officer Mohammad Saleem Bag to explain the reasons behind Rao Tehsin’s removal.
Dogar also sought details related to their inquiry.

He said that Rao Tehsin did not make any mistake why he was made a scapegoat?
He further asked what the officials of the ministry are doing with respect to the investigation.
Secretary Information Sardar Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera told the Standing Committee that the Information ministry has no connection with removal of Rao Tehsin.
He further said that Rao Tehsin case is not to be restored as PIO but it is about promotion to grade-20.
