Swaraj grants visa to more ailing Pakistani nationals

New Delhi, October 18 (TNS): Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has once again granted medical visa to five  Pakistani nationals, Indian media reported on Wednesday.

Swaraj assured medical visa to Irfan Ahmed Shaikh, husband of a  Pakistani national Lubna, for his liver surgery in India.

Indian External Affairs Minister assured help to Lubna’s husband after she requested her to approve his pending medical visa.

Replying to Lubna’s tweet, Swaraj said, “Lubna – We will give medical visa for the liver surgery of your husband Irfan Ahmed Shaikh in India.”

Swaraj also approved medical visa of another Pakistani woman for liver surgery in India.

Swaraj granted visa to the woman after her son sought her help on Twitter.

In another case, Indian EAM approved medical visa of a child, Adullah Kashif after his parents asked for her help.

Responding to parents’ tweet, Swaraj said, “The treatment of your child must not suffer for want of medicine. I have asked Indian High Commission to issue medical visa.”

She also assured medical visa to two other ailing Pakistani children.
