PESHAWAR, Oct 23 (TNS): As only two days left in NA-4 by-election, Pakistan Muslim League-N has geared up mass campaign to get maximum public support for its candidate, Provincial Information Secretary Nasir Khan Musazai.
The local leaders and supporters of PML-N has accelerated house to house campaign besides holding corner meetings to inform voters about party manifesto and achievements of the party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing a corner meeting at village Musazai, PML-N candidate and provincial information secretary, Nasir Khan Musazai said PML-N has completed record development projects in NA-4 Peshawar by providing the key facility of gas and electricity to the people at their doorsteps.
The facility of gas was provided to deprived areas of NA-4 Peshawar besides provision of facilities of the transformers and construction of new grid stations that would help provide smooth electricity besides addressing low voltage problems in the area.
He said that over 70 water tube-wells were installed by PML-N government to provide clean drinking water facility to the people of NA-4 .
He said NADRA offices were setup in different areas of NA-4 Peshawar to provide speedy computerized Identity Cards to the people of this constituency.
Musazai said gas projects worth billions of rupees was being provided to aryamzai, Adezai, Sher Bakera, Azakhel, Tela Band, Sheikhan, Shaikh Muhammadi, Suleman Khel, Bazidkhel, Masogar, Surizai Payan, Urmar, Baghbanan, Hazarkhwani, Lala, Musazai, Kachori and others adjoin areas.
In addition to these projects, he said utility stores in over 25 union councils were set-up by PML-N to provide better commodities to people.
Nasir Khan said the champions of slogan of ‘Change’ have completely failed to address peoples’ problems of NA-4 Peshawar.
He said the constituency has a lot of problems like poor roads conditions, lack of
educational and health institutes, scarcity of clean drinking water, solid waste management system, unemployment, poor access roads from agriculture fields to markets, poverty and no solid measures were taken for addressing these issues during last four and a half years of PTI government.
He said people voted PTI in the name of change but were now feeling disappointed as no positive and visible change in the constituency has been witnessed during last four years despite this seat was won by PTI during last general elections. Musazai said PTI leadership has wasted time in agitation and sit in rather than focusing on resolution of the above issues faced by people of NA-4. The people of NA-4 were now looking for PML-N for development and solution of their problems.
He said PML-N has given gift of CPEC, Hazara Motorway, Lowari Tunnel, Peshawar Bypass and Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital Swat to people of KPK.
He claimed PML-N was the only party that has strong roots in masses and would achieve victory on Oct 26 with support of masses.
