Peshawar, Oct. 29 (TNS): Controversial lawmaker, abandoned by Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Ayesha Gulalai’s former principal secretary has been shot deat in Laki Marwat, a town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, officials say.
Noor Zaman was killed when unknown suspects on motorcycles opened fire at him in Laki Marwat’s Tajori town on Sunday afternoon, local police said.
Initial investigations into the incident are underway, police added.
On August 8, Zaman had moved the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission against the former Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader over alleged corruption in development projects.
