Mardan, Nov. 1 (TNS): After TNS report families of cooks, remained hostage for several days in KP village, finally get relief.
A local neighborhood committee in Mardan district has expelled families of cooks from a village for increasing their labour charges for preparing cauldrons by 50%.
The Social Welfare Committee in Kohi Barmol Katlang village ‘asked’ 10 families to leave and used the local mosque’s loudspeakers to urge villagers to begin socially boycott them.
The men of the families have left in search of work elsewhere, while the women and children staying behind to face hostage like situation.
TNS departed its team to Mardan to give special coverage to these miserable families which were suffering with hunger and diseases.
After TNS report, District Police Officer (DPO) Mardan Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed interfered and revoke social boycott and arrested 61 people involved in such inhuman action.
