Islamabad, Nov. 1 (TNS): Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik has strongly condemned the act of terrorism in New York.
In a statement, Senior PPP leader expressed his sympathies with aggrieved families.
Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior Senator stated that the incident is an eye opener for the world particular for US.
He said the world needs to understand that terrorism is a mindset which is growing everywhere and it needs to be curbed.
Malik said that Pakistan is also victim of this menace and have suffered heavily.
“Uzbek remained very active with Taliban in promoting terrorism in Pakistan”, he said adding that “US will have to think and to revisit its strategy as Pakistan is also suffering for being its ally.
“It is time that super powers have to examine the root causes of this growing terrorism across the world”, he added.
Malik asked President Donal Trump to revisit his policies and should “do more” for his own country instead of asking others to do so.
