MQM target killer handed 14-year imprisonment

KARACHI, Nov 09 (TNS): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday handed 14-year imprisonment to Muttahida Qaumi Movement target killer Ubaid K2 on Thursday.

He was accused of possessing arms and explosive materials. The court announced the verdict after the accusations against the criminal were proved in the court.

ATC has also ordered the concerned authorities to seize his transferable and non-transferable assets as well.

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in 2016 indicted Ubaid K2 on charges of possessing explosive material.

Ubaid K2 was arrested by the Rangers in a raid at MQM headquarters ‘Nine Zero’ on March 11, 2015. Gulberg police had recovered explosives from a school on identification of the accused.
