Islamabad, Nov. 26 (TNS): Amid restoration of news channels, social media still remained suspended in Pakistan on Sunday.
The ban was imposed by the government a day earlier.
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are not accessible in Pakistan, while YouTube can only be accessed via the mobile application.
The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) however ordered the restoration of news channel across the country on Sunday — a day after it had ordered cable operators to take all news channels off air.
