It should be mentioned here that the former minister lashed out at his successor who said the only fatalities occurred during an assault on a house, a reference to the residence of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan near Faizabad.
In an interview, the minister said some forces were thinking that the government will be toppled as a result of these protest sit-ins; however, no such thing happened on ground.
“I am thankful that all the matters have been taken care of,” he added.
