Rawalpindi, Nov. 30 (TNS): Father of martyred Lt Arsalan Alam passed away on Wednesday, military spoksman tweeted on Wednesday.
“COAS deeply saddened on demise of f/o Shaheed Lt Arsalan. Not only by soldiers, sacrifices by our families continue #LongLivePakistan”, DG ISPR took to twitter to announce the sad demise.
Lt Arslan embraced shahadat some two months ago. Today his father died. No male members now in Arslan shaheed family. Army values each member as its own family. Even shaheed family has same in army’s eyes.
Terrorists fired from across the border on newly established Pakistani Border post in Rajgal, Khyber Agency. Lieutenant Arsalan Alam, the Officer Commanding that post got hit while performing his duties and embraced Shahadat. Lieutenant Arslan Alam was just 22 years old.
