LAHORE, Dec 02 (TNS): Punjab chief minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday paid a visit to Pakistan Kidney and Liver Transplant Institute and reviewed progress of the under-construction state of art health facility. He expressed satisfaction over the development in this regard and while talking to the media he instructed the authorities to complete the project within the due time.
While expressing satisfaction over the completion on first phase of the project and lauded the men on work CM issued stern instructions to the concerned of completion of project in due time and use of quality material as according to CM both won’t be compromised.
The top Punjab official convened a meeting with the nursing staff of the facility. Through the course of the sitting, the CM instructed the staffers to work in the best interest of the patients and their families.
“You have to serve suffering humanity with equally required as your job is to lessen the sufferings of the people”, He said while talking to nursing staff.
On the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif stressed for a great car-parking facility for families of the patients and directed officials to maintain landscaping to add to the project.
During his media talk, Punjab CM criticised his political rivals including PTI chief by saying that the people suffered of legal hindrances paved by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) against Orange Line Train project.
PKLTI is an exceptional project which apart from providing free of cost, state of the art treatment of liver and kidney diseases including transplantation, will be the center of imparting the best training to produce future specialist doctors, nurses and paramedics in this field, beside doing cutting edge research in its specialties and working to create awareness regarding prevention of kidney, bladder and liver diseases.
