Shahbaz hosts auspicious Mehfil e Meelaad at his residence, urged for adherence of real teachings of Prophet PBUH

LAHORE, Dec 02 (TNS): Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif hosted an auspicious Mehfil-e-Milad on the eve of Eid Milad ul Nabi at his residence in Lahore on Friday.

The Eid Milad ul Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated across the country and a auspicious Mehfil was also hosted by the CM Sharif and was attended by the provincial Ministers including Rana Sunaullah and other party leaders and supporters.

The religious scholars have highlighted the various corners of the life (Serat-e-Tayyab) of last Prophet Hazarat Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him), and the prominent Naat Khawans paid tribute to Nabi (PBUH) through their Naats.

Shahbaz Sharif on the occasion said that the nation should take lessons from the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH) and promote brotherhood, peace and harmony among our national ranks.

He said that Allah Almighty sent the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a benefaction for all the worlds and his life has been termed as a true manifestation of the Holy Quran, having complete guidance and the right way for the Muslims. The pious character and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) cover the whole span of life of every human being.

Stressing that our youth in particular should be introduced to the real teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him) CM said that we should protect the rights of minorities and discourage those who want to divide the nation by spreading discord.

He said the blissful day of the arrival of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) to this world will be celebrated with full religious fervor and zeal as the teachings as well as the way of life of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be upon Him) are the beacon of light for all of us.

Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) brought a revolution with his immaculate character and way of life.

We need to promote the message of peace, brotherhood, national unity and cohesion today along with following these golden principles for salvation, he concluded

Pertinent to mention here that CM Punjab with his special attention made it sure that Eid Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated with full religious fervor and passion and special ceremonies are held in every district of the province.

Before the commencement of the special eve he held detailed reviews of security plan pertaining to law and order and arrangements of various religious ceremonies and directed the concerned officials to arrange across the whole Province the illumination of the masajid, shrines and other buildings, cleanliness of streets and bazaars, provide best facilities to the people attending the religious ceremonies and Milad processions and special programmes like Na’at and Qira’at competitions along with contests of thesis on Seerat-ul-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) and the best performers be awarded.

The Chief Minister converted the plans in a real success by ensuring that foolproof security arrangements to Milad procession are provided according to the devised plan at every cost as he put it that “there is no other priority than maintaining peace and protection of life and property of the people”.
