ISLAMABAD: Dec 2 (TNS): Journalists protest in front the national press club Islamabad for government’s move against the closure of the broadcasting Television channels across the country, according to the report, Number of journalists attended.
Addressing the participants of the journalists, speaker said that ‘the closure of the media in the democratic era is an oppressed move.
Participants of the protest said that by closing the Channels, the government has snatched the right to access public information. They further said that no pressure on the media will be tolerated.
Remember that after the commencement of Faizabad operation the government closed all the news channels, along with Social networking websites.
