LONDON Dec 12 (TNS): Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif met Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in London on Monday, sources in the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said.
According to reports, the meeting was held at the residence of Nawaz’s son, Hasan Nawaz, wherein the present situation of the country came under discussion.
Sources added that Nawaz’s daughter, Maryam Safdar, and other members of the family were also present at the meeting.
Ishaq Dar also inquired about the health of Belgum Kulsoom Nawaz.
Dar, who is presently in London on account of his medical treatment, was declared a proclaimed offender by an accountability court for his continued absence from the proceedings of a corruption reference against him.
