Over 280 ton narcotics torched in Quetta

QUETTA, Dec 12 (TNS): Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) torched about 284 ton narcotics at Quetta’s Kach-Mur mountain on Tuesday.

According to a statement released by ANF, over 284 ton narcotics were set alight by Commander Southern Command (CSC) Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa. He said that collective efforts would be taken to eliminate narcotics from society.

About 57 alleged accused were apprehended by security forces including ANF, Frontier Corps (FC) Police, and other administrations during 118 successful raids conducted in different areas. Narcotics comprising 110 ton charas, 55 ton opium, 23 ton heroin, 9 ton morphine, 380 bottles of liquid and other contraband chemicals were recovered from their possession.
